I made a new one. Khia’s “My Neck, My Back” with Matt and Kim’s “Good Ol Fashioned Nightmare.” How can a meeting of these two songs possibly go wrong?
I have another tune done except for rigging up a picture. So maybe two updates in one week? RETURN OF THE MACK.
All the tunes are uploaded to wordpress now, so the links won’t expire anymore. I’m going to try to finish another one or two soon. That sounds like fun. I haven’t been listening to much new music lately, so if anyone has any requests or suggestions, let me know.
Also, if you only do one thing while you’re here, listen to Dolly Parton vs Kraftwerk. It’s really not too bad!
Here it is…the first new tune in over a year, “Sure Shot” vs “Oh Messy Life.” Its a little on the sloppy side here and there…oh messy messy!
The picture has little to do with the song I suppose. I found it on someone’s Cap’n Jazz Myspace page when I was looking for photos to use for this. It’s Tim Kinsella watching what appears to be the Lungfish music band. Since there aren’t a whole lot of Cap’n Jazz photos floating around on the internets, and because I like Lungfish kind of a lot(maybe you’ve noticed), I couldn’t resist using it.
A bunch of the links were screwed up, and I’ve been meaning to fix them for a long time. Anyway, they are now fixed. They won’t stream anymore, they’ll just download. That doesn’t bother me if it doesn’t bother you. If it does bother you, let me know, and I’ll do something about it(in the next 3-6 months, ha ha). I’m also going to add a link to Look At This Fucking Hipster because it cracks me up.
I haven’t added any new songs for a long time. I still have a bunch sitting around almost done, including Beastie Boys vs Cap’n Jazz, Joanna Newsom vs Bo Diddley, and a few others. We’ll see…
Btw, after Kid Cudi… I’m not sure I really have any right to use the name Eazy Emo anymore. “Day n Nite” is the emo-est song ever. If you want it, the name is yours, duder.

I made a blog. A couple weeks ago, I read about the guys over at thehoodinternet.com . So I checked it out, and I liked their songs(especially the R Kelly/Broken Social Scene tune). So I thought maybe I should make a site and post the mash ups I’d been doing.
Right now, I have a small handful done, so I’ll be posting a bunch kind of all at once. I’ll put new stuff up when I can. We’ll see how often that is.
I decided to make pictures for a few songs like the ones they have at thehoodinternet. I bet I probably won’t end up doing that for every song, but we’ll see.
I hope you like my logo. It’s made from the Eazy E logo and the Remo drums logo, obviously. I even stole the idea of doctoring the Remo logo to read “emo” from the guys in Braid. I thought it was funny, so I did it too. It was a very easy “emo.” Wacka wacka!
Anyway, here we go. I don’t think mash ups are the greatest thing in the world, but they’re sort of fun to make, and I hope they are fun to listen to also.
